The Fat Cat Trading Company is a down to earth family run business set in the heart of the Pennines of Yorkshire. Established In 1994, from humble market stall beginnings at the Halifax Piece Hall, the Company has now established itself at the fore-front of the handmade soap, aromatherapy & fragrance industry, under the brand name Millie Bee.
From the early days, and even earlier mornings, of market trading it was the ambition to grow
the Company slowly bringing as much manufacturing in house as possible, to ensure only the
best products were sold to its customers.
Whilst Fat Cat Trading now mainly supplies to the the trade, the Company continues to sell to
the public via its own retail outlet in Greetland, on the outskirts of Halifax. As we do not test any of our products on animals, the people of Halifax provide us with ample opportunity to try new things! During the year we attend a number of continental & specialist markets throughout the country & our mail order business is growing quickly, worldwide.
Manufacturing, importing & distribution is split over 2 sites & keeps us busy during the week,
& often Sunday’s too! Our large trade customer base ranges from market traders, small
independent shops & health food stores, through to large high street multiple chain companies
& distributors.

at Fat Cat Trading we believe bathing is a time to indulge, a time to reflect upon & enjoy those
increasingly rare opportunities to spend a little quality time by yourself. but being a little
selfish & enjoying some ‘me time’ doesn’t need to come at a price to the enviroment.

to manufacturing handmade skin & body care products.
ANIMAL TESTING..... Animals shouldn’t suffer because we choose to take these little pleasures
in life. We ensure that none of our suppliers test our ingredients on animals. We never will,
& never have, tested our finished products on animals. We will support raw material suppliers
who fund alternative methods of testing the raw materials we buy.

prevention of damage to the climate & improving animal welfare are paramount importance
to us & influence our choices of packaging & ingredients from the initial delvelopement
